Guidelines for getting Australian Student Visa

 So, you just finished you +2 HSEB exams. What are you planning to do now? Many of you might be trying for different entrance exams in the valley. Some of you might be planning to study bachelors in abroad. Well, I am not going to explain all about studying abroad in this article. I am just focusing on purchasing higher studies in Australia. This article is especially focused for +2 passed out students.

                                            Without a doubt, Australia is a top destination for abroad study. Some of the best universities of in the world are in Australia. It is a very large country (7.692 million sq. km) but its population is less than that of Nepal. Australia has made a huge advancement in the sector of Technology and Sport. As it is one of the best destination, getting Australia Student Visa is not easy at all. So, who gets visa? I have mention some points below:

• Having Good Academic Background:

It is the most important one. You need to have 65% in your SLC exams and 60% in  your HSEB +2 exams at the least. Many student visas these days gets rejected due to poor academic background. Good percentage will increase your visa getting chances.

• No Gap Between your Study:

One important thing is to make sure that there is no academic gap in your level of studies. More than 1 year gap after SLC and more than !.5 years gap after +2 exams can make you in trouble. So, apply for visa as fast as your can.

• 6.0 in IELTS:

Australia is English speaking nation. All the courses offered by universities in Australia are taught in English. So, you need to have at the least 6.0 in your basket. Australian High Commission sometimes accepts visa for students having IELTS score 6.0 but that is not the scenario in every case and visa getting chances is comparatively low.

• Good Income Source:

You need to prove that your parents have enough income to cover your expenses in Australia. You should be able to show around 1,50,000 NRs income per month. You need to have original documents and supporting documents to prove the income is valid.

• Education Loan from Nabil/SBI Bank [Only Parents Property]

One of the main reason for visa getting rejected these days is showing others property not of your parents to take student loan. The Australian High Commission will inquiry with the bank about the owner of property you took student loan from. If your parents property isn't enough and need to add someone else property, make sure he/she has blood relation with your parents and most percent of the collateral for education loan belong to your parents. You can also take loan form fixed deposits or cash but taking student loan is the best option. Keep that in mind, you should only take student loan from Nabil bank or SBI bank. 

                                      

• Choosing Universities/Colleges affiliated with Streamlined Visa Processing (SVP):

Make sure that the University/College you have chosen comes under SVP. You can know weather the institution is under SVP or non-SVP in the institution website or simply searching in google. The Australian High commission gives more emphasis to students who is applying under Streamlined Visa Processing System.

• Proper explanation in Statement Of Propose (SOP):

You need to submit proper SOP when you University or Australia High Commission asks. The writing skills must be excellent and it must impress the officials. Make sure, you don't get off the topic and write more than needed. 

• Interview by Australian High Commission:

Keep that in mind, if you could impress the visa officer in the interview taken by Australian High Commission, you might guarantee you visa. The Australian High Commission usually takes interview with student via phone to make sure that the student is confident of what he /she is doing and to test weather provided documents matches with your answer or not. They can ask about anything. So, be bold and answer the questions.

That's it. I have mentioned most important guidelines above. But, as you know Australia High Commission is crazy, nothing is guaranteed and anything can happen. But, you should have enough reasons for getting visa if you can manage above guidelines.
