21 December was one of the biggest day of Nepalese Football. The arrival of World cup Trophy in Nepal has given some encouragement to the fans and for sure the fans involvement was all enough to show the love from the Nepalese Football supporters to the game. This was great encouragement to all the players and fans, however I believe encouragement does not give results, all we need is sound facilities, good exposures and quality players.
As far as I know from the core, as a fan, the problem exists with ANFA that has failed to show professionalism, one of which remains the example of audience-less league just executed for formalities.
Although ANFA has already announced distribution of apartment and many attractive incentives, provided that the team gives better results in greater tournament but when its about practice, the team has always failed to train together very well, one of the example remains the India friendly in Siliguri. The players did not even train a day together as a result a poor display in India was a fact that was already embraced even before the match.
One of the silliest fact remains that none of the Nepalese club is able to compete the AFC requirements even while Ganesh Thapa remains the vice president of the confederation. If this traditional way of operation continues, NRT club will be followed very soon by many other clubs.
Its time we fans have to unite and give pressure to ANFA that counts number of chickens before it hatches.
Our one and only league “a-division” league is starting soon. Seeing past we can easily say our league is not a standard one. Same stadium used twice a day.The ground condition-terrible. As a die heart Nepalese Football Fan, it always hurts seeing such a league of poor quality. And one of the most weakest part of our league is that our league is not so long(3 months average). So players when called for National team first seeks good condition. The players are not kept busy as needed. Though some professionalism have been shown by some of the clubs(MMC, Machindra, TSC etc) but the level of play is very back. It has become so long AFC suggesting ANFA to put a AFC club lisening criteria. The only point all those problems directs is towards ANFA. Seriously ANFA is not concerned at all. The new ANFA team is formed but in vain. To promote league all across nepal the only things ANFA can do is to add necessary requirements to achive if not standard but near that level. There must be atleast :
1. The team that look only for league or different department inside ANFA to look and care the league and pitch should be formed and work properly.
2.ANFA should help CLUBS for AFC CLUBS CRITERIA atleast own training ground and bus to travel and a academy with hostel.
3. Man of the Match system with prizes. if cannot afford the can have sponsorship in Man of the match.
4. Player of week and Month through Voting System. IT can be a great part to increase league all over country.
5. To Build active ANFA website though they have it is not updated and polls should be created.
6. To increase League Rapidly, one of the quickest thing is to have a FANTASY LEAGUE of NEPAL like that of I-league.
IF ANFA can manage to do not all but some efforts in this season, all supporters including me will be over welcomed.
